(Chilean glory flower)
An unusual plant classified as a climbing perennial, vigorous growth can quickly climb a sunny wall and benefits from being tied in. It happily grows in any soil and produces continual flowers from June onwards.
Elegant, cut leaves give way to tubular orange flowers (they can also be shades of orange and yellow) and the coverage over a wall can be stunning through Summer.
Eccremocarpus scaber needs a sheltered spot and is hardy to around -5, the plant will die back to the ground in Winter and benefits from protection in the form of a mulch.
