Crocosmia Lambrook Gold
Known as montbretia, this large genus has many garden worthy varieties with differing habits, colours and sizes. A herbaceous perennial with blade like, green leaves growing from a creeping root stock. Flower stems are produced on mass through summer.
This variety is an unusual variety found at Lambrook Gardens in Somerset, it is a nice variety with a smaller and less vigorous habit than most Corcosmia and has lovely pure yellow flowers with an open, pretty flower with rounded petals.
Works in most soils, is happy from full sun through to semi shade and will put on a long display through summer.
Hardy, herbaceous perennial.
