Roscoea 'Kew Beauty' 
An unusual bulbous perennial which shoots very late in the season, sometimes not showing any signs of growth above the ground until early May, once it does shoot the leaves come up rolled in a tubular shape and unfurl to strap like leaf, short flowers spikes are then produced to about 40cm and open to show some really beautiful flowers.
Kew Beauty has lovely pale yellow, delicate but showy flowers, these are produced in late spring.
Best in partial shade with a moist, free draining soil.
Hardy, deciduous, bulbous perennial.
