Senecio polyodon Variegata (Tricolour)
This is a plant we've had on the nursery for over 8 years! I discovered this one myself as a sport of Senecio polyodon, the species has green leaves and vivid pink flowers and is notorious for self seeding.
My variety has been tested extensively and does not set seed, we have left the flowers for a whole season and no new seedlings have appeared, making this a wonderful option for the garden with the knowledge that it will not take over your garden.
This variety also has striking foliage which has a tri-colour element to it with cream edges, green centers and flashes of pink. It has a clump forming habit that slowly spreads out to around 50cm, the flower stems rise above the foliage to between 60-80cm
Works in most soils, is happy from full sun through to semi shade and will put on a long display through summer.
Hardy, evergreen perennial.
Supplied in either a 9cm pot or 2 Litre pot, please select from the drop down menu when ordering.
