Miscanthus Zebrinus is a large growing grass with coarse, blade like leaves which start the season bright green, then around May horizontal gold bars become visible on the leaves giving a striking effect.
Large plumes of off white flowers are produced at the end of summer.
Prune back hard to the ground in spring or at the end of winter, this will allow the new growth to come through for the next season.
Hardy, deciduous grass.
