Many of our plants provide vital nectar, pollen and shelter for garden wildlife. Planting a diverse mix of flowering varieties helps support bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects throughout the seasons, creating a healthier garden ecosystem.

All of our plants are grown in peat-free compost, helping you garden more sustainably.

All of our plants are grown here at our family-run nursery and carefully selected for garden performance, reliability and value.

We specialise in hardy perennials, shrubs, grasses and ferns, including one of the UK’s widest ranges of Buddleja. Every plant is grown to be garden-ready and established in peat-free compost.

Plants are supplied in either 9cm pots (ideal for planting in groups and growing on) or 2-litre pots for more instant impact in the garden.

Most of our plants are hardy and easy to grow in UK gardens.

• Water well after planting and during dry periods in the first season
• Plant into well-prepared soil and firm in gently
• Apply a mulch in spring to retain moisture and improve soil health
• Feed during the growing season for best performance
• Remove faded flowers or trim lightly to encourage fresh growth

Dispatch & delivery

We dispatch orders on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Orders placed before 9am on Monday will dispatch that Tuesday or Wednesday. Orders placed after that cut-off will dispatch the following Tuesday or Wednesday.

We aim to dispatch within 5 working days of your order. During peak periods (spring and early summer) this may extend to 10 working days. We’ll always let you know if there’s a delay.

Delivery charges

• Royal Mail 48 – £5.99 for orders up to 0.99kg
• 48hr Courier / Royal Mail 48 – £8.99 for orders over 1kg
• Local delivery – £5 within 5 miles of North Perrott (including Montacute, Stoke sub Hamdon, Crewkerne and surrounding villages)
• Free delivery – on orders over £250, via courier or pallet depending on plant size

Where we deliver

We deliver to mainland UK only. We’re unable to deliver to the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, BFPO addresses, or PO Boxes. We do not offer international delivery.

Click & collect

Collection is available direct from the nursery in North Perrott. Please contact us to arrange a collection time before placing your order.

Packaging

All plants are packed carefully for safe transit. We use packaging appropriate to the plant type and size to minimise movement and protect foliage and roots during the journey. When your plants arrive, unpack them promptly, check the compost moisture, and give them a day in a sheltered spot before planting out.

Returns

If you’re unhappy with your plant on arrival, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. Return postage is at your cost, and if the plant arrives back in good condition we’ll refund the purchase price and original delivery charge.

30-day guarantee

If your plant develops a problem within 30 days of delivery, get in touch and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund. We may ask for photos to help us understand what’s happened – this helps us improve too. The guarantee covers plant health on arrival and establishment failure where our growing is at fault; it doesn’t cover plants lost to frost, drought, waterlogging, or other conditions outside our control.
