A unique and stunning addition to any garden, Buddleja davidii Ellen's Blue (also known as Butterfly Bush) is a must-have shrub. Its beautiful blue flowers bloom from July to August, with a small yellow throat adding to its charm. This medium-sized shrub is perfect for mixed borders and is highly attractive to bees and butterflies.
With a height of up to 1.5m and a spread of easily maintained 1.5m, this deciduous shrub boasts lance-shaped grey-green foliage and striking blue flowers. It thrives in well-drained, sandy, loam, chalk, or clay soil and can be planted in full sun or partial shade. With a hardiness rating of H6 (-15), it is a hardy and resilient plant.

To ensure prolonged flowering, dead flowers should be removed and the plant should be pruned hard in winter (January/February), with any large, woody stems removed. Our Buddleja davidii Ellen's Blue is supplied in a 2 litre pot (17cm) and will be securely packed for delivery.
