This large growing deciduous grass is perfect for a sunny spot, produces a compact tuft of green foliage with yellow and cream stripes to around 60cm through late spring and into summer with large plumes of purple flowers on stems to 1m in height in summer, the flowers fade to a lovely blonde colour in late summer and stay over winter giving a great effect for the winter garden.

Perfect for the mid to back of border, this grass also has wonderful blonde flower heads in autumn.
