This large growing deciduous grass is perfect for a sunny spot, produces a large tuft of mid-green foliage which fades to a golden brown in the autumn months and grows to around 90cm through late spring and into summer with large plumes of purple-brown flowers on stems to 150cm in height in summer, and stay over winter giving a great effect for the winter garden.

Perfect for the mid to back of border, this grass also has wonderful blonde flower heads in autumn.
