Clethra Ruby Spice - AGM

Clethra Ruby Spice (White Alder) is a unique and beautiful shrub that thrives in partial shade. Its upright flowers have a sweet scent and add interest to any border. This shrub is easily maintained at a height of 1.5m and a spread of 1m, making it a great choice for smaller gardens. The dark green foliage provides a lovely contrast to the pink buds and pink/white flowers that bloom in the summer.

This shrub prefers moist, well-drained soil with a sandy or loamy texture, but can also tolerate chalky soil. It does best in a semi-shaded position and is fully hardy once established, with a hardiness rating of H5 (-10 to -15). Clethra Ruby Spice is a deciduous shrub and is available in either a 9cm pot or 2 litre pot, allowing you to choose the size that best suits your needs.

  • Free Delivery: On orders over £250, via courier or pallet depending on plant size.
