Known as montbretia, this large genus has many garden worthy varieties with differing habits, colours and sizes. A herbaceous perennial with blade like, green leaves growing from a creeping root stock. Flower stems are produced on mass through summer and a nice open flower with rounded edges to the petals.

This variety is a large and vigorous variety and has pure yellow flowers.

Works in most soils, is happy from full sun through to semi shade and will put on a long display through summer.
