Genista canariensis (Fragrans)
A nice, vigorous evergreen shrub with an upright habit and bright green foliage. Masses of pea like, fragrant, yellow flowers are produced on mass in spring and continue through to summer. A really good plant for all year coverage and it forms a good dense, large shrub.
Best pruned to shape after flowering. Happiest in full sun but will tolerate partial shade and requires a moist, well drained soil.
