Hesperantha coccinea `Pink Princess` is a unique and stunning clump forming bulbous perennial, also known as the `Flag Lily`. Formerly known as Schizostylis, this plant has blade-like, light green leaves and grows to a height of around 60cm. The flower spikes, which appear in late summer through autumn, are slightly taller than the leaves and are a beautiful pale pink colour.
This variety, bred by Wilfred H. Bryant, is known for its strong growth habit and is slightly taller than other varieties. It is a hardy plant, fully established at H4 (-5 and below) hardiness level, and can be easily maintained at a height of 60cm and spread of 50cm. It thrives in moist, well-drained soil and can tolerate full sun to partial shade.

Hesperantha coccinea `Pink Princess` is a herbaceous perennial that comes in either a 9cm pot or 2 Litre pot. It is a slow-spreading, non-invasive plant that can be divided and split to create more plants for your garden or to share with friends. The cup-shaped flowers range in colour from strong red to pink, pale pink, and white, adding a pop of colour to your garden from late summer to as late as December in mild conditions. This evergreen plant maintains some foliage all year round, making it a beautiful addition to any garden.
