Knautia macedonica
'Thunder & Lightning'

A useful perennial with flower stems up to 45cm, topped deep red flowers through summer.

This variety has striking variegated foliage which works fantastically well with the dark red flowers. It has an good dwarf habit too compared to other varieties.

Flowers are about 3cm across, pin cushion shaped and highly attractive to insects.
