Kniphofia rooperi - AGM 
Rooper's red-hot poker, a large variety growing to around 1m, produces a dense clump of deep green, strap like leaves and tall flower spikes resembling red hot pokers. the flowers open from the base and start with orange buds, opening to a nice orange colour and then fading to yellow, giving a nice effect through the flower head.
Evergreen, hardy perennial that will grow in most soils and best in full sun.
