Mahonia Winter Sun 
(Oregon Grape)

A medium growing evergreen shrub with large spiky and robust leaves. Produces large flower spikes containing lots of fragrant yellow flowers in Winter. Blue berries follow after flowering and are quite attractive on a crisp Winters day.

Has a nice upright habit and is happy in full shade as well as semi-shade, prefers a moist but well draining soil.
Grows to around 2m over 10 years.
