A low growing, semi-evergreen perennial with a mat of foliage similar in appearance to strawberries, the leaves are dark green, palmate with strong veining. 

Flowers are produced in abundance through summer and are produced on short stems to around 40cm, open, slightly cupped, small pink flowers with a deep velvet, dark center are a true delight along the border front or in containers through summer.
