Stokesia laevis Mary Gregory
An unusual and not widely grown variety of Stokesia
Evergreen, lance shaped leaves are produced in a mound of evergreen foliage forming in a nice clump.
Stiff, upright stems are produced late in summer with large, frilly blooms in a nice pale yellow/cream colour. Flower buds start in summer but stay in bud for a while before opening.
Works well in the front of the border and is best in a slightly acidic soil but will tolerate any soil and prefers a well drained site.
Hardy, evergreen perennial
Supplied in either a 9cm pot or 2 Litre pot, please select from the drop down menu when ordering.
