    Gaillardia x grandiflora 'Kobold' is a bushy herbaceous perennial known for its vibrant and long-lasting blooms. Although often short-lived, it forms a dense basal rosette of lance-shaped mid-green leaves that provide a lush backdrop. From early summer through to early autumn, it produces striking flowerheads featuring red disc florets surrounded by red ray florets tipped with yellow, creating a fiery contrast. These flowers are borne on upright stems reaching 30-40cm in height, making 'Kobold' an excellent choice for adding vivid colour and structure to borders and containers throughout the growing season.
